Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

How close is the cabin to local attractions and dining?
You get the best of both worlds—peaceful seclusion that’s just minutes from the action. We are located approximately 6–8 minutes from Hochatown favorites like Grateful Head Pizza and Mountain Fork Brewery, and about 15 minutes from Broken Bow Lake and Beavers Bend State Park.
What kind of spa amenities are available in the cabin?
The cabin is designed for ultimate relaxation. Inside, the primary ensuite features a luxury bath with a deep soaking tub and a dual-head shower. Outside, you can enjoy a private hot tub on the balcony, perfect for soaking under the stars.
Is the kitchen fully equipped for cooking at home?
Yes! The kitchen is fully stocked with high-end appliances, including a glass cooktop, oven, blender, and dishwasher. We provide a Keurig, coffee maker, and tea kettle, along with essential cookware and dishware. Note: We recommend bringing your own specific oils and spices if you plan on elaborate meal prep.
When are the fireplaces available for use?
To ensure safety and seasonal comfort, both the indoor and outdoor fireplaces are available for guest use from October 1st through March 31st. The outdoor firepit and the BBQ grill are available for your enjoyment year-round!
Is the property suitable for families or just couples?
While the "modern farmhouse" vibe is incredibly romantic for couples, we are family-friendly! The living room includes a full-size sofa bed, the kitchen features a breakfast table with two high chairs, and we even provide children’s dishware and silverware.
What should I know about the drive and the location?
To maintain our secluded feel, the driveway is gravel and can be a bit steep; we recommend SUVs or larger vehicles for the easiest access. Also, since we are tucked away in a beautiful pine forest, you’ll truly experience nature—which means you might spot local wildlife or the occasional forest bug during your stay.
What is the cancellation policy?
Full refund if the reservation is canceled at least 30 days before check-in. Partial refund if the reservation is canceled at least 7 days before check-in. If canceled less than 7 days before check-in, only the cleaning fee is refundable. This policy applies to direct bookings only — reservations made through Airbnb or VRBO follow that platform's cancellation policy instead.
